Some fertile, pollen producing snowdrops, will be open in January most years, and on sunny days may be visited by honeybees. Since we don’t as yet have a hive, I haven’t yet got an image for this month, though firends tell me that in 2012 bees were out and about on their snowdrops in January – so one of the best early pollen sources for honeybees.
